Im super curious to know why after talking about playing double bass on two 26" kick drums , Mike ends up using a double pedal instead ? Not trying to troll by any stretch of the imagination cuz MP and AVH are both heros to me . Just curious is all . My guess is that Mike would have needed more time with that setup to feel comfortable with filming something like this . In any case this just amazing to watch .

He's definitely right about him and his band members being in a good space right now. I've seen them live a few times, and the show I saw in 2023 was easily their best performance. Billy, Jimmy and James were all relaxed, cracking jokes and having a great time, and Jimmy played a couple of drum solos that were mind-blowing, especially the one during Ava Adore.

Dear lord, I love this man. Implausibly talented, wise, kind, generous of heart, and he plays with feel and pocket like I’ve never heard - even at a billion beats per minute. He’s a gift to all of us. I’m not a religious man, but to hear him behind a kit is transcendent for me, and I thank god for JC. ✊❤️

Yo Protection Racket makes some killer soft cases! The bass drum case I have is technically a soft case but it’s got a hard plastic middle layer, and it’s fo sheep skin lined… Plus it’s a 22x20 case which is the size of my bass drum, and I believe they where one of only a couple bass drum cases I could find in that size. There stuff is quality stuff…
